SPR First Aid Course EA 1®
The aim of the SPR First Aid Course EA 1® is to increase confidence in helping in emergency situations as well as in everyday minor accidents.
The course is suitable for learning first aid topics comprehensively and ensuring first aid competence in environments with an apparent risk of accidents.
SPR First Aid Course EA 1® is a certified course. Upon completion, participants always receive an official Finnish Red Cross first aid certificate, valid for three years.
The course can be completed as in-person training, a webinar, or as a blended course, where half is completed independently online and half in instructor-led training.

- recognising and assisting an unconscious person
- CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
- first aid for choking
- controlling severe bleeding in a limb
- shock
- first aid for common medical emergencies

- other accidents (electric shock, eye injury, nosebleed, head injury)

SPR First Aid Course EA 2®
The aim of the SPR First Aid Course EA 2® is to increase confidence in demanding first aid situations and provide readiness to act in various accidents.
A valid SPR First Aid Course EA 1® certificate is required as a prerequisite.
SPR First Aid Course EA 2® is a certified course. Upon completion, participants receive a Finnish Red Cross first aid certificate valid for three years.
The course is suitable for deepening and strengthening previously learned first aid skills and for environments with a higher risk of accidents.
The course can be completed as in-person training or a webinar led by a first aid instructor.

SPR Emergency First Aid Course 4 h
The aim of the SPR Emergency First Aid Course 4 h® is to increase confidence in life-threatening situations.
SPR Emergency First Aid Course 4 h® is a certified course. Upon completion, participants receive a Finnish Red Cross first aid certificate valid for three years.
The course serves as a refresher course, which can be used once to extend the validity of an SPR First Aid Course EA 1® or EA 2® certificate by three years.
The course is suitable for learning essential life-saving first aid skills and ensuring competence in low-risk environments.
The course can be completed as in-person training or a webinar led by a first aid instructor.

The course can be completed as in-person training or online. The content is largely the same, but the delivery method affects learning. In in-person training, you practise hands-on with instructor guidance, while online training is completed independently.

The aim of the SPR Emergency First Aid Course 8 h® is to increase confidence in life-threatening situations and to recognise common medical emergencies and learn how to provide first aid for them.
SPR Emergency First Aid Course 8 h® is a certified course. Upon completion, participants receive a Finnish Red Cross first aid certificate valid for three years.
The course serves as a refresher course, which can be used once to extend the validity of an SPR First Aid Course EA 1® or EA 2® certificate by three years.
