About Us

We provide first aid training for companies and organisations with over 10 years of experience. Our course selection is comprehensive, covering emergency first aid as well as basic and advanced first aid training. All courses are EFAC-certified by the Finnish Red Cross, and participants receive an official certificate. We also register completed courses and qualifications in the Finnish Red Cross competence register. Training can be delivered at your premises or at another agreed location. 
 

How First Aid Oksanen Ltd was founded

It all started with a young instructor who wanted to combine her passion for Red Cross first aid volunteering with the skills she had gained from working as a trainer in various roles. 
Rina worked as a first aid instructor for the Finnish Red Cross Helsinki and Uusimaa district during a time when the organisation was restructuring its training operations into a limited company. During this time, she discovered her strengths in both training and sales, receiving excellent feedback from her clients. 
Koronavuodet antoivat aikaa ajatusten juoksulle ja näin Rina aloitti ensiapukoulutusyrittämisen toiminimellä. Nykyteknologia mahdollisti toiminimelle niin verkkosivujen kuin logon ja sosiaalisen median kanavien luomisen ja ylläpidon, kun Anna-tytär tarjoutui auttamaan Espanjan auringon alta. 
Kevytyrittäminen toiminimellä osoittautui virkistäväksi ja omat ydinosaamiset sai siinä täydellisesti yhdistettyä. 
 
By autumn 2025, the demand for first aid training had grown significantly, and the idea of leaving employment to focus fully on the business became increasingly appealing. At the end of the year, the limited company began to take shape. After several months of preparation, the shareholder agreement and company registration were officially signed on Emergency Number Day, 11 February 2026 — a symbolic and celebratory moment shared by the three founders. 

Rina Oksanen

CEO & Lead Instructor

Rina is the CEO of the company and holds a Master’s degree in Health Care from Laurea University of Applied Sciences. She has been involved in Red Cross first aid group activities since her teenage years. In her free time, Rina enjoys kayaking, spending time at the cottage, and gardening.

Anna Oksanen

Communications & Marketing Manager

Anna is responsible for the company’s social media and website content. She has gained experience working at Lyfta Ltd and has also been involved in Red Cross volunteering in her youth. he is currently studying at university and enjoys scouting, outdoor activities and sports. 

Juhamatti Huovila

Sales & Customer Success Manager

Juhamatti works closely with clients and coordinates the details of training sessions. He has extensive experience in customer service. In his free time, he enjoys music and meaningful conversations.

In line with Red Cross principles, we have zero tolerance for bullying and discrimination. We are a training partner of the Finnish Red Cross, and we tailor our training to meet each client’s needs while following official course programmes.
